Purchase the following items from your local hardware store.

1 1/4 inch pipe thread, white plastic cap
1/8 inch pipe thread male fitting with 1/4 inch male hose nipple.
6 inch piece of 1/4 inch hose.

Drill and tap 1/8 inch pipe treads in the end of the 1 1/4 inch cap. thread the nipple into the cap, install the hose on the nipple.
